Do you ever have trouble explaining terms like Jannah or tahaara to your kids? In this captivating episode, Adam and Aneesah are introduced to the beautiful Islamic manners in a novel way: Each concept is attached to an Arabic alphabet. This approach will help your children learn and remember both the Arabic alphabet and a good manner while having fun! As Adam and Aneesah interact with their favorite Khala, as well as three new characters introduced in this episode, they learn about table manners, practice tahaara (cleanliness) as they get ready for jumua prayers, hear thikr, and discover the meaning of Jannah.
Aneesah goes on an amusing "feeding spree" as she hears about the importance of sharing food with others. The episode concludes with a touching story by Khala on caring for animals, based on a hadeeth of Prophet Muhammad (s). Children will also learn four Arabic letters: baa for "bismillah", jeem for "jumua", taa for "tahaarah", and thaal for thikr.
This unique Islamic video series introduces children to Islamic values
and culture in a manner that is both entertaining and educational. Puppets, songs, animation, humor, and positive images of Muslims make each Adam's World episode an important source of Islamic education for children 2 to 9 years.

This is the second episode of the world famous Adam's World children's video series, what some call the "Muslim Sesame Street". This video is ideal for children between the ages of 2 and 9. It teaches Islamic values in a fun and lively way that is almost sure to keep kids watching. Adam is a friend to children, someone who they can relate to and learn from. In Adam's World 2, Adam takes a trip with his trusty transvisualizer to Turkey and also gets to taste some fantastic Turkish food! And if you're wondering why Adam is dressed the way he is on the cover of this great video, it's because he's become a king in one of the video's segments! But he realizes that power in Islam, means more than just eating great food and dressing in fine clothes! Adam also learns about the importance of patience and cleanliness in Islam, a theme which is even more important after Adam meets Morris Muckster, a man who hasn't taken a bath in 27 years!
More Information:
If you're worried about how to teach Islamic values to your young children in a way that will keep them interested, Adam's World is one of the most powerful tools in your struggle. With the media bombarding our children with sex and violence, we need to communicate Islam to this next generation of Muslims in a way that is both educational and appealing to them. That's why Adam's World is so necessary. Here's what one parent had to say about this world famous children's video series: "I just had to pen this e-mail after viewing the first three videos of the Adam's World Series that I purchased recently. Masha Allah! The quality, production and content of the program are excellent. Within just a few hours my children were 'unhooked' from their Disney videos. This is probably the wisest investment I have made on my kids' behalf thus far. I intend to purchase the whole series without delay.
The Whole Series:
This is the first installment in the Adam's World Series after Adam's debut in the video Let's Pray, and it's notable for a number of changes that came about after it. One is the absence of Asad (played by Sound Vision's Jawad Jafry-read an interview with him). Instead of Asad, Adam has a traveling companion named Abdullah, who accompanies the orange-haired, Kufi-wearing puppet and helps him with the Trans-visualizes. The second is the lack of fancy three-dimensional graphics (those come later on in the series). Nonetheless, Adam's World One successfully entertains and educates with Adam's star appeal and his enthusiasm for Islam. The video also sets the pace for the series, as it introduces some of the main features of virtually all of the subsequent Adam's World videos: songs, a story narration, the use of the Trans-visualizes to travel to a part of the Muslim world, for instance. Apart from Adam, Muslim children of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are feature prominently in each episode by singing songs, narrating stories or performing in short skits. Children's audiences of this video will see other Muslim kids in action, doing Islamic things like praying, reading Quran, etc. In this manner, children see others like them involved in Halal activities and could be encouraged to imitate the behavior through example. China is the destination of choice for Adam and Abdullah with the help of the Trans-visualizes in Adam's World 1. The country's Muslims are not only numerous (about 100 million when this video was produced), but have incorporated Islam fully into their lives. Glimpses of the country's architecture, for instance, show how Islamic and Chinese influences have been combined to give mosques in China a unique look. But the introduction to Chinese Muslims doesn't end with this visit. A Muslim Chinese guest visits Adam and shows him how to write "Allah" in Chinese, thus showing kids another way of how Islam has been internalized into the way of life of Muslims the world over. The importance of the brother/sisterhood and the equality of all Muslims are also emphasized in the video. The aura of showbiz, however, starts to affect Adam towards the end of Adam's World One. In an attempt to change his image for television, he decides to wear a band around his head with holes for his eyes, making him look like a Ninja Turtle. But Abdullah explains that this is wrong. He's convinced Adam will do just as well as a star with his own series without the image buffing. The Adam's World series is now at its eleventh episode and is recognized the world over. Alhamdu lillah, Abdullah was right: Adam has done very well.

This is the tenth episode of the world famous Adam's World children's video series, NOW AVAILABLE ON DVD what some call the "Muslim Sesame Street"
This DVD is ideal for children between the ages of 2 and 9. It teaches Islamic values in a fun and lively way that is almost sure to keep kids watching. In Adam's World 10, Adam learns that a person's true worth is not based on fame and fortune but on one's character and humility. Adam also realizes that modest behavior and conduct are essential to the Islamic way of life.
Adam's friends play a practical joke and Adam learns a lesson about humility. Adam's sister Aneesah joins in the fun. Islamic situations your children will enjoy. 3D animation of Arabic letters, terrific songs and more!
Other highlights in the program include: two terrific songs, wonderful 3-D animation about the Arabic letter "dal" and the belief in "Dua" (or supplication) to Allah, the importance of avoiding arrogance and much more. The Humble Muslim is a must for any fan of the Adam's World Series.
Read this review of The Humble Muslim:
'HUMBLE MUSLIM' brings religious values to kids"
Adam is a Muslim boy puppet who's the star of a series of videos designed to teach religious values to children ages 2 to 9. Many of the videos use humor to educate, combining skits with catchy spiritual songs. They're the kind of videos that parents enjoy watching with their children. However the latest entry, "The Humble Muslim," isn't as good as others in the series. Much of the humor is strained, though little children may not mind.
The story hinges around a prank that convinces Adam that he is famous. It goes straight to his head and he loses sight of the tenets of his faith. In the end of course, he sees the light and realizes that a person's true worth is not based on fame and fortune, but on character and humility. The story is interspersed with a nicely done music video celebrating God's creation.
