The Teacher's Guide It provides the teacher with the proper ways of teaching the subject, in addition to the ideal answers for all the activities mentioned in the student's book. The units contain techniques of doing the exercises, additional activities, linguistic games and group work. Grade Two building upon the two testimonies, students are introduced to the elements of faith. They increase their knowledge of the Qur'aan through memorization and recitation of Soorah al-Burooj through Soorah ash-Sharh (with short explanations for each soorah). They learn additional characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad as well as the obligatory aspects of ablution. Practical lessons in the performance of prayer, as well as the appropriate number of raka’aat for each Salah, are integral components of this grade. Students are also taught to respect the rights and property of their family, teachers, and others.The material is presented, using a spiral approach, where students revisit each area and study it in greater depth each year.
