The Reader The child enters a wider community and develops positive and happy relationships in Small City. The stories begin with the Grape Tree, a sincere friend of the family. Then they accompany the children very early in the morning along the road to school. They visit Uncle Lateef, the baker; Uncle Talal, the pharmacist and meet the lady pediatrician and other friends who work at this early hour, ending with a visit to Uncle Samer, the traffic cop. They get to know Uncle Sa’eed, the cheerful new school bus driver and accompany him around the city. The children visit Grandpa and Grandma in their house in the village. Grandpa and Grandma tell them the story of the Arab Prince Hassan and his friend the horse. After a happy reunion at the airport, the stories end with the scouts on the shore of the blue sea. How beautiful the world is when it is filled with friends!!!
The Activity Books From activities that develop vocabulary, sounds and letters, sentences and little stories, poems sketches, free writing home projects the child discovers and practices by the end of Grade One the basic language rules that enable him to read independently.
