The Shining Path series is a comprehensive and integrated educational program directed to elementary school students. This series presents itself as a program free from all the complications that get in the way of educational and pedagogical interests. It aims to familiarize students with moral teachings, enabling them to adhere to these morals, both verbally and practically. The series does this using modern educational methods, taken from simplification and programming, as a means of achieving goals. The importance of this series shows in its ability to deal with a number of important issues, and in its adherence to a gradual teaching method, which addresses students according to their cognitive and intellectual abilities. Based on this, the following subjects are addressed in the series.
Aqeedah, or Beliefs: adheres to the teachings of the Glorious Qur’an and blessed sunnah in laying out the issues of aqeedah. The point in this is to protect students from ideologies contrary to the truthful teachings of Islam.
Fiqh, or Jurisprudence: Used to teach and train students on various applications related to the five pillars of Islam.
Seerah, or the Prophet’s Biography: is used to enable students to identify the life stages of the Prophet (peace be upon him), his virtuous morals and his calling to Islam in a good manner.
Qur'anic stories: aims to give students insight into the stories of the Prophets and Messengers, and their relationships with their peoples. Students are then able to extract lessons from these various nations, and to understand Islam’s acknowledgment of all heavenly religions.
Life of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them): enables students to learn stories of the Companions (sahaabah), which encourages them to follow in the Companions’ footsteps.
Ethics and Manners: familiarizes students with what Islam contains of human values, and high moral virtues, far away from extremism and perversion of thought and behavior. This helps students to positively integrate into their communities.
Arts: helps students memorize some of the prayers and sayings of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and encourages them to consistently use these prayers.
A number of skills tests have been added at the end of every lesson to assess the student’s understanding of the lessons.
سلسة (الطريق المنير)، هي برنامج تربوي شامل ومتكامل، موجه الى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية. تقدم هذه السلسة نفسها على انها برنامج يتجاوز كل التعقيدات المتعارضة مع الغايات العلمية والتربوية، وتهدف الى تمكين التلاميذ من الالمام بالتعاليم الاخلاقية بما يساعدهم على التمسك والالتزام بها قولا، وعملا، وذلك بالاعتماد على أساليب تربوية حديثة تأخذ من التبسيط والبرمجيات وسيلة لتحقيق الغايات. وتتجلى أهمية هذه السلسة في معالجتها العديد من القضايا واتباعها اسلوبا ياخذ بيد التلاميذ في طريق من التدرج يتناسب مع إدراكهم العقلي والمعرفي، وهوما جعلنا نقرر ونعتمد المحاور التالية:
العقيدة: التزام منهج القرآن الكريم والسنة الشريفة في طرح مفاهيم العقيدة، والهدف من ذلك تحصين التلاميذ من الافكار المتأثرة بثقافات متعارضة مع حقائق الاسلام.
الفقه:تعليم وتدريب التلاميذ على مختلف التطبيقات المتعلقة باركان الاسلام الخمسة.
السيرة النبوية:تمكين التلاميذ من التعرف على مراحل حياة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم واخلاقه الفاضلة ودعوته الى الاسلام بالحسنى.
القصص القرانية: تمكين التلاميذ من الاطلاع على حياة انبياء الله ورسله وعلاقاتهم باقوامهم, وجعل التلاميذ يستخلصون العبر من ذلك ويتعرفون على مدى انفتاح الاسلام على كل الاديان السماوية.
حياة الصحابة رضوان الله عليهم: تمكين التلاميذ من معرفة سيرهم مما يشجعهم على الاقتداء بهم.
الاخلاق والمعاملات: تعريف التلاميذ بما يحتويه الاسلام من قيم انسانية, وفضائل اخلاقية سامية, بعيدة عن التطرف والانحراف في الفكر والسلوك, وبما يساعدهم على الاندماج الايجابي في مجتمعهم.
الاداب: تحفيظ التلاميذ بعض الادعية الماثورة عن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم, وتحفيزهم على الالتزام بها.
هذا وقد جعلنا في اخر كل درس مجموعة من المهارات لاختبار مدى استعاب التلاميذ للدروس.
