When Ramadan comes to an end,
The crescent moon is sighted.
All Muslims wait with joy and then -
Eid Mubarak!

We wake and ‘rise before the dawn.
Get ready for our prayer.
Our brand new clothes we now put on.
Eid Mubarak!

A time of joy, a time of peace.
Our families all will gather
To start the Eid al Fitr feast.
Eid Mubarak!

We greet our friends throughout the day
With many hugs and handshakes.
To everyone we meet we say:
“Eid Mubarak!”

The party starts - come join the fun
With candy, toys and presents.
There's something nice for everyone.
Eid Mubarak!

A time of joy, a time of peace.

And when the days of Eid are done,
Give thanks again to Allah
For blessing each and everyone.
