“The Arabic Language Book” is a project that develops learning the Arabic language in the pre-elementary and elementary school levels. This project aims to approach language learning and acquisition through general criteria, and specific milestones, thus achieving the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. “The Arabic Language Book” makes learning the Arabic language easier, starting from the basis of the language, and moving on to the letters. The book adopts the most recent literary styles for reaching children and their intellects; this is the narrative style, which prompts student desire to learn the language. The book takes off with stories related to the life and reality of students. It starts with student interests in the first primary levels, and then develops to higher levels to cover a number of topics that interest them, whether these are scientific interests, social or historical, or anything else. In the first, pre-Kindergarten level, “The Arabic Language Book” presents the oral and written aspects of letters. In the second, Kindergarten level, the book begins training students on how to connect and disconnect letters, and how to read and write them. This enables students to start reading and writing simple sentences in the First Grade. Training to learn the letters in “The Arabic Language Book” is dependent primarily on learning different vocabulary words containing the letters, words that enrich student knowledge of the language. The books are made up of a number of education units, revolving around the study of different themes. These units are, in turn, designed to help reach the various goals and achievement measurements set for each educational level. Therefore, the units include educational exercises and activities, necessary for achieving the four language area skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. The books present comprehensive units, integrating grammar and spelling rules necessary for understanding discussion passages, and for orally expressing and writing about these passages. “The Arabic Language Book” pays special attention to the kindergarten level, taking into account the different learning styles among children. The project provides various teaching aids to supplement the main book, addressing learning differences and various forms of intelligence using the following:

The companied CD is an audio-visual CD developed to cover the stories books subjects. These subjects are digitally stored and transformed into interactive media, both audio and visual: everything is explained in audio, and illustrated by images (still and animated).
