Arabic is a macrolanguage that is widely spoken in the Middle Eastern and North African countries; it is also the language of the Quran, one of God's revelations, the revered scripture of Islam. Today, what most Arab-speaking people speak, read, and write is Modern Standard Arabic (or MSA), which stems from Classical Arabic.

Obviously, learning any language lends one to learning about its people's culture, and undoubtedly, by learning Arabic can one learn about its rich and intriguing culture. Given today's political and global trends, the Arab world is becoming vastly popular, with a huge demand for Arabic-speaking persons.
