Quran Club Curriculum- Ahbab El Quran (Friends of the Quran)
This curriculum is for use with Quran Club students. It meets their needs, as well as the needs of teachers and parents. This curriculum’s focus is both the surahs as well as Islamic values and the prayers that are associated with these surahs. The goal is for the student to learn the book of Allah and how to use its lessons in their everyday life. This curriculum is made up of two levels, and each level has two parts.

هذا المنهاج يتناسب مع قدرات الأطفال المتعلمين في نادي الطفل القرآني، كما يلبي حاجاتهم وحاجات المعلمات وأولياء الأمور. ومادة المنهاج الأساسية هي السورة القرآنية، وما يدور في فلكها من الآداب الإسلامية والأدعية النبوية لتوجيه الطفل إلى تعلم كتاب الله والعمل به. وجاء هذا المنهاج ضمن مستويين، وقُسِّم كل مستوى إلى فصلين.

Each book of the series is designed to emphasize the aspects of Islam which are appropriate for the grade level. “Islamic Education – The Right Path” exposes the young student to Islam in a child-friendly manner using illustrations, simple text and activities. Loaded with large illustrations these books will engage young students' attention and interest as they learn the basics of Islam.

a human being above other creatures and created things, and he looks
towards his own unique characteristics among the people around him. The
child’s pure heart becomes attached to his Creator when he contemplates
the blessings of Allah, and the beauty of His Names and Attributes.
General Goals of the First Level
The child feels that Allah, Al-Wadood (The Most Loving), loves him.
The child loves Allah, Most High.
He feels that he is a special person.
He engages in the form of worship called “tafakkur” (reflecting worship, or contemplating on Allah’s signs and creation).
He understands that the purpose behind the creation of man is worship.
He repents to Allah.
He remembers Allah.
He enjoys exploration.
He gives the salaam.
He solves problems.
