The Arabic language, our mother language, is the language of
connecting and communicating between grandparents and grandchildren, old
and new, tradition and modernity. For this reasons, it must be given
the importance it deserves. It must be cared for, loved with devotion,
and looked after like a mother cares for her child, or as a farmer
protects his field. Language is not a goal, but a tool to transfer
feelings and thoughts between people. Thus, it is not an object, but a
living entity that evolves, just like thoughts and feelings change from
generation to generation. The Arabic language has the ability to
adjust and develop because of its structure and multiple features such
as carving, shaping, painting, and metaphor. What’s more, it has evolved
and succeeded in fostering communication between people. It is a social
agent that cannot be underestimated. People who have the ability to
influence their listeners are those that have mastered the skills of
writing and speaking. To be an effective speaker or writer among people,
one must learn how to develop good rhetoric expression models. While
we may take for granted that lingual creativity is a talent or gift
from Allah, we cannot forget that training and culture are the
indispensable basis for nurturing and promoting creativity. Therefore,
we put this three-part educational book Al-Muin - Composition and Writing into the hands of our dear readers, hoping to achieve this desired goal.

This series was founded upon the following three fundamentals of teaching languages presented in an Islamic context:
Elements: sounds, letters, phrases, and pronunciation
Skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening
Linguistic Functions: introduction, greetings, description, requests, and apologies.
Series Contents: The Learn Arabic series consists of textbooks, workbooks, and teacher’s manuals for levels K-12th grade. The textbooks aim to present basic elements of the Arabic language and their functions, while the activity books focus on enrichment material with special emphasis on writing. The teacher’s manuals offer tips on teaching Arabic efficiently with positive results.
Support Material: Teachers will be pleased with the full array of support materials available, such as a collection of audio records, posters, and cards. These books also include ideas for additional activities, such as chants, competitions, and linguistic plays. All of these materials will help to make each lesson exciting and active for students.
Student Textbook: The Student Textbooks are comprised of 24 units: 66 basic lessons of new material, plus an additional 6 units for revision. Each basic unit contains 4 lessons of new material, including dialog text, expressions, and vocabulary, and communication exercises. These units contain conversations, pronunciations and expressions, grammatical structures, listening, reading, thinking, writing, and extra activities, such as selections of Qur’an, hadeeth and nasheed, where the teacher books include a midterm and final test. Answer keys can be found in the teacher's manuals.
Activity Book: The activity book simply enhance the material found within the student textbooks. They mainly concentrate on writing skills with some review of verbal skills. Each contains many different activities which can be done at school or at home, such as coloring and painting pages; word matches; reading letters and sentences; writing words, letters, and numbers; and answering questions. Some of the activities should be completed at home with a parent to strengthen the relationship between home and school.

This book includes 7 educational units that center on children's environment and their everyday activities.
The units are organized as follows:
Let's Talk. Each unit begins with a conversation that includes the linguistic elements, vocabulary, expressions, and grammatical structures. The goal of the conversation is to make the learning process easy and to enable students to communicate using the language.
New Vocabulary. Illustrated words enrich children's vocabulary and provide them with new words to use.
Speaking: Speaking exercises to be completed in pairs allow children to gain fluency using the language by encouraging interaction, sharing, and communication between students.
Reading: The reading texts contain a variety of cultural topics and come in a variety of shapes in order to meet children’s needs to learn about the world around them and become cultured.
The goal here is to:
Accustom students to silent reading and understanding of the content, so that they can become independent readers.
Accustom students to reading aloud, so that the teacher can correct their reading and pronunciation.
New structures. In each unit, students practice creating a new structure of basic Arabic structures. The book presents examples that students can use to create new structures with the help of their teacher.
Supporting vocabulary. The student's book contains supporting vocabulary in the form of an illustrated dictionary in the back of the book. It includes new expressions with pictures to aid in students’ retention of the information.
The “I love Arabic” series will help students with verbal and editorial communication in Arabic.

The lessons gradually advance and each principle is revisited from one lesson to the next. It also includes the entirety of the Arabic syntax rules in the levels (fifth- twelfth) and combines application with practical training based upon theoretical rule.
Integration between the linguistic skills:
The series addresses the four main linguistic skills which are: reading, listening, speaking and writing in a balanced integrated way. Special attention is given to speaking and understanding what is heard in the first two books. In the third through sixth books the concentration is on dictation and reading. In the seventh through ninth books the aim is to connect schools with Arabic libraries, children’s magazines, encyclopedias and helps to simplify knowledge departments.
And in the tenth through twelfth books subjects and literature is presented in their original text with some adjustment. It also presents chosen examples of poetry prose from the poets Al Jahili, Al Omawi, Al Abbasi along with contemporary poets.
Educational material presenting methods:
Different methods are used in this series to make the lesson exciting for the child. Our Arabic Language for Grade Seven follows the curriculum for Arabic language and its general framework; it includes eight units. The writer was careful to choose a variety of reading texts such as poetry, narration, Quranic verses, hadiths, samples of scientists’ biographies, cultural, nationalistic, and Islamic essays, in addition to scientific, social, and literary articles, stories, plays, and tales. The book includes samples of feminist literature so that students can become familiar with different social issues and be equipped to communicate with others about these issues, while listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
The units are handled in the following way:

Grammar and morphology should be taught through the texts that include the grammar, followed by study: eliciting the grammar rule from the students through conversation and demonstrating self-learning. Several grammar and morphological exercises are included so that students can learn from the examples. The complementary method was used: it combines inductive and syllogistic methods.
Texts: This unit includes a selection of poems students use to increase their ability to read aloud expressively, to understand and enjoy literature, and to maximize their linguistic outcomes. The poetry they memorize also helps them enrich their ability to communicate and express, in addition to introducing them to a new group of authors.

Writing: The units include applications of some of the spelling issues presented in texts or sentences, followed by study and exercises.
Listening: The units include listening scripts both in the listening scripts booklet and in the dictation booklet. These scripts are followed by questions to develop multiple listening skills.
