Goals & Contents:
The “I love Arabic” series will help students with verbal and editorial communication in Arabic. To achieve this goal, the series provides the student with educational materials that will help him to utilize formal Arabic from the start and will create the opportunity for him to use what he is learning in real conversations.
The series is directed towards non-Arabic speaking children ages 6-18 years. It consists of twelve levels, each level includes three books which are:
  1. Student’s Book.
  2. Student's Workbook.
  3. Teacher’s Book.

The linguistic content:
The series displays the vocal system of the Arabic language in its different phenomena. It presents vocabularies that are common in an Arabic dictionary for children. It also features 4,300 words and it concentrates on pictorial concrete vocabulary in the first two books.
The series provides the student with a number of basic linguistic structures (about 500 structures). Each lesson contains a specific number of structures and expressions. The lessons gradually advance and each principle is revisited from one lesson to the next. It also includes the entirety of the Arabic syntax rules in the levels (fifth- twelfth) and combines application with practical training based upon theoretical rule.

Integration between the linguistic skills:
The series addresses the four main linguistic skills which are: reading, listening, speaking and writing in a balanced integrated way. Special attention is given to speaking and understanding what is heard in the first two books. In the third through sixth books the concentration is on dictation and reading. In the seventh through ninth books the aim is to connect schools with Arabic libraries, children’s magazines, encyclopedias and helps to simplify knowledge departments.
And in the tenth through twelfth books subjects and literature is presented in their original text with some adjustment. It also presents chosen examples of poetry prose from the poets Al Jahili, Al Omawi, Al Abbasi along with contemporary poets.

Educational material presenting methods:
Different methods are used in this series to make the lesson exciting for the child. Stories, songs, conversations, linguistic games and entertaining homework are incorporated in the lessons to entice learning and help students identify their preferences. It also helps to awaken students' passion for drawing, coloring and teamwork.
The series includes different types of linguistic exercises that suit children. An emphasis has been given in terms of mental and physical activities, whether performed in pairs or groups.

Vocabulary list:
There is a list of vocabulary at the end of each book in this series that contains all vocabularies and expressions which were presented in all book lessons. The words are alphabetized so the student can find the words needed easily.

Evaluation quizzes:
Each book of the series books includes a number of phase quizzes for evaluation and measuring the student’s progress in learning the language.

أهداف السلسلة ومكوناتها:
تهدف سلسلة "أحب العربية" إلى تمكين الدارس من الإتصال الشفهي والتحريري باللغة العربية، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تمدّ السلسلة الدارس بمادة تعليمية تعينه على استخدام العربية الفصحى منذ البداية، وتهيئ له الفرصة لاستخدام ما يتعلمه في مواقف اتصالية حقيقية. والسلسلة موجهة للأطفال من (6-18 عاماً) من غير الناطقين بالعربية، وهي تتكون من اثني عشر مستوى، يشتمل كل منه على ثلاثة كتب هي:
  1. كتاب التلميذ
  2. كتاب التدريبات
  3. كتاب المعلم

المحتوى اللغوي:
تعرض السلسلة النظام الصوتي للعربية بظواهره المختلفة، وتقدم مفردات تدور في قاموس الطفل، كما تطرح نحو 4300 مفردة، ويركز في الكتابين الأول والثاني على المفردات الحسية المصورة. تمد السلسلة الدارس بعدد من التراكيب النحوية الأساسية ( نحو 500 تركيب)، وقد روعي أن يحتوي كل درس على عدد محدد من المفردات والتراكيب والتعابير، واتبع فيها مبدأ التدرج والتردد من كتاب إلى كتاب ومن درس إلى آخرن كما تعالج في المستويات من الخامس إلى الثاني عشر الأسس الكلية لبنود قواعد النحو العربي، وتجمع إلى جانب القاعدة النظرية التطبيق والتدريب العلمي.

التكامل بين المهارات اللغوية:
تتناول السلسلة المهارات اللغوية الرئيسية الأربع من استماع وكلام وقراءة وكتابة بطريقة متكاملة ومتوازنه مع توجيه عناية خاصة للكلام وفهم المسموع في الكتابين الأول والثاني، أما في الكتب من الثالث إلى السادس فيركز فيها على التعبير والقراءة، كما تهدف في الكتب من السابع حتى التاسع إلى ربط الدارس بالمكتبة العربية ومجلات الأطفال والناشئة والموسوعات ودوائر المعارف الميسرة.
وتعرض الكتب من العاشر حتى الثاني عشر الموضوعات والأدبيات بنصها الأصلى مع بعض التصرف اليسير أحياناً، كما تعرض نماذج مختارات من الشعر والنثر الفني للعصور: الجاهلي والأموي والعباسي والحديث.

أساليب عرض المادة التعليمية:
استخدمت في السلسلة أساليب متنوعة بحيث تجعل الدرس شائقاً للطفل مثل: القصص والأناشيد والأغاني والحوارات والألعاب اللغوية والتسلية الوظيفية التي تستثير دوافع التلاميذ وميولهم، كما تستغل ولعهم بالرسم والتلوين والعمل الجماعي.
وتحتوى السلسلة على أنواع مختلفة من التدريبات اللغوية التي تلائم الأطفال والناشئة، مع الإهتمام بالتدريبات ذات النشاط الحركي والعقلي، يُجرى بعضها فرديًّ وبعضها ثنائياً وبعضها على شكل مجموعات.

قائمة المفردات: هناك قائمة بالمفردات في آخر كل كتاب من كتب السلسلة، تحتوي على جميع المفردات والتعابيير التي قدمت في دروس الكتاب، وهي مرتبة ترتيباً ألفبائياً، حتى يصل التلميذ إلى الكلمة التي يريدها بسهولة.

اختبارات التقويم:
يشتمل كل كتاب من كتب السلسلة على عدد من الاختبارات المرحلية للتقويم، وقياس تقدم التليمذ في تعلم اللغة.

        2. It is based on the latest methods and techniques in teaching foreign languages.
        3. Exercises and Activates Books have been combined into the eight Students’ Books for practical reasons.
        4. Considering the integration between the three language competencies: Linguistic, communicative and cultural.
        5. Using a progressive approach and units-based system in introducing educational materials, along with using a specific number of vocabularies and structures in each unit.

    The Arabic language, our mother language, is the language of connecting and communicating between grandparents and grandchildren, old and new, tradition and modernity.     While we may take for granted that lingual creativity is a talent or gift from Allah, we cannot forget that training and culture are the indispensable basis for nurturing and promoting creativity. Therefore, we put this three-part educational book, “The Assistant in Writing and Essays,” into the hands of our dear readers, hoping to achieve this desired goal.

    General Writing Instructions
    1. Read the subject carefully, at least twice. Underline the words or sentences that represent the main ideas of the subject.
    2. Ask yourself, "What did they ask me to write?"
    3. Beware of straying off subject.
    4. Think before you write.
    5. Have a plan for your subject.
    6. Start with a small focused introduction.
    7. Finish your subject one passage at a time, following the plan you have created.
    8. Take advantage of fluent expressions and quote suitable proverbs.
    9. Conclude the subject with a focused sentence that best summarizes your chosen subject.
    10. Don't neglect punctuation marks.
    11. Correct all grammatical and spelling errors.
    12. Reread what you have written to ensure you have thoroughly covered the subject.
    13. Finally, copy your subject.
    The Assistant in Writing and Essays part two is divided into 4 parts, each part discuss certain subjects. First part is about enriching the linguistic amounts and provides examples of well written texts. Second part is about science, technology and communication means. Third part is about health, food and sports you need to describe in a simple essay. Forth part is about the culture and composition arts.

    Teaching language is a critical tool in communication and ultimately in the development of knowledge. In our quest to provide our customers with quality materials, we are pleased to offer the Learn Arabic series. It employs modern methods of teaching foreign language to successfully teach the Arabic language to students in K-12th grade. This series was founded upon the following three fundamentals of teaching languages presented in an Islamic context:
    1. Elements: sounds, letters, phrases, and pronunciation
    2. Skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening
    3. Linguistic Functions: introduction, greetings, description, requests, and apologies.
    Series Contents:
    The Learn Arabic series consists of textbooks, workbooks, and teacher’s manuals for levels K-12th grade. The textbooks aim to present basic elements of the Arabic language and their functions, while the activity books focus on enrichment material with special emphasis on writing. The teacher’s manuals offer tips on teaching Arabic efficiently with positive results.

    Support Material:
    Teachers will be pleased with the full array of support materials available, such as a collection of audio CDs, posters, and cards. These books also include ideas for additional activities, such as chants, competitions, and linguistic plays. All of these materials will help to make each lesson exciting and active for students.

    Student Textbook:
    The student textbooks are comprised of 24 units: 66 basic lessons of new material, plus an additional 6 units for revision. Each basic unit contains 4 lessons of new material, including dialog text, expressions, and vocabulary, and communication exercises. These units contain conversations, pronunciations and expressions, grammatical structures, listening, reading, thinking, writing, and extra activities, such as selections of Qur’an, ahadith and nasheed; where the teacher books include a midterm and final test. Answer keys can be found in the teacher's manuals.

    Activity Book:
    The activity book simply enhance the material found within the student textbooks. They mainly concentrate on writing skills with some review of verbal skills. Each contains many different activities which can be done at school or at home, such as coloring and painting pages; word matches; reading letters and sentences; writing words, letters, and numbers; and answering questions. Some of the activities should be completed at home with a parent to strengthen the relationship between home and school.

    Regarding the number of notes and remarks in teachers’ questionnaires, a curriculum development process became essential to encounter the need of a curriculum which sustains modern development, considers the circumstances our boys and girls are living in, regards their actual needs, and harmonizes with the goals system which the society tries to achieve.

    The curriculum of the Permanent Qur’anic centers includes three levels for males and females. Each level is divided into two semesters. Most of the concentration is placed on the Holy Qur’an (tilawa, tafseer, hifth). The curriculum does not overlook the importance of the various Islamic studies but it contains a group of lessons that enrich the learners’ experiences in Islamic studies topics that concern them.
