The I Love Arabic Series comes to you from expert language teachers living in over 41 European countries. It focuses on teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers, especially benefiting those who have little time to commit to Arabic throughout the weekdays, and makes learning easy by covering several educational levels: Kindergarten level for ages 3-5 years old and levels 1-6 for ages 6-11 years old.
Three systematic divisions (sounds, words and syntactical structure, and conversational practices) enable the learner to generate language accurately in a variety of highly successful modern techniques. These focus sections present the Arabic language clearly and inclusively to meet the needs of Western learners.
This curriculum develops fluency by communication, discovery, realization, and then application. It helps Arabic learners to deal confidently with Arabic culture, plus different types of reading and listening passages:
1. Reading techniques are developed through the study of a wide selection of authentic reading passages, including classic Arabic without concentration on spoken dialect. Regular vocabulary exercises examine word building techniques.
2. Careful balances of authentic and scripted listening materials build confidence whilst offering the ability to communicate with native Arabic speakers.
3. A presentation of Arabic culture patterns help Western children to connect with their Arabic speaking peers in other parts of the world.

1. Student Text:
The student text is the first step of I Love Arabic Series (from 7 years old) and is supported by a comprehensive workbook, handwriting book, and teacher case. The text is comprised of 16 units discussing critical issues of a child’s world.
Each unit is divided accordingly:
Reading Dialogue: Simple and short passages comprising linguistic structures of sounds, vocabulary, expressions, and syntax structures, aim to facilitate learning by teaching the language process and communication.
Vocabulary: Vocabulary words are taken directly from reading dialogue. They are combined with graphics to further student understanding and sensory perception.
Conversation: Conversational exercises encourage students to participate in classroom activities, apply reading material within dialogue, and ultimately become fluent speakers.
Sounds: The Arabic language is introduced sound by sound to avoid difficulties that students may encounter while learning letters with similar appearance or sound.

2. Workbook:
The patterns of exercises include:
Listening Comprehension: Exercises aimed at determining the level of children’s comprehension for new vocabularies and expressions.
Reading Comprehension: Exercises aimed at determining the level of children’s comprehension for the meaning of dialogue expressions.
Vocabulary: New vocabulary is listed to help with student memorization.
New Phrases: More exercises to support the student text.
Writing Composition: This section focuses on word expressions and sentences to reinforce more complete writing skills.
Writing: Students practice writing letters and then joining them to become words. Illustrations help students to visualize words.
Illustrated Dictionary: An illustrated dictionary appears at the end of the workbook and includes word sets found throughout the lessons making memorization easy.

3. Handwriting Book:
Students practice writing Arabic letters, words, and then expressions.

4. Teacher Case: Consists of: Teacher Guide: Tips on efficient teaching practices.
Posters to be used as classroom visual aids
Audio tapes

The second activity book expands on the second student's book and reinforces acquired skills and linguistic structures. Each of the 25 lessons in the student's book has 3 accompanying pages in the activity book. Students can work on the activities in class with a teacher’s help and can complete them at home. Teachers should collect books from students after each lesson to correct them.

    Goals & Contents:
The “I love Arabic” series will help students with verbal and editorial communication in Arabic. To achieve this goal, the series provides the student with educational materials that will help him to utilize formal Arabic from the start and will create the opportunity for him to use what he is learning in real conversations.

The series is directed towards non-Arabic speaking children ages 6-18 years. It consists of twelve levels, each level includes three books which are:
    1. Student’s Book.
    2. Student's Workbook.
    3. Teacher’s Book.
    The linguistic content:
The series displays the vocal system of the Arabic language in its different phenomena. It presents vocabularies that are common in an Arabic dictionary for children. It also features 4,300 words and it concentrates on pictorial concrete vocabulary in the first two books. The series provides the student with a number of basic linguistic structures (about 500 structures). Each lesson contains a specific number of structures and expressions. The lessons gradually advance and each principle is revisited from one lesson to the next. It also includes the entirety of the Arabic syntax rules in the levels (fifth- twelfth) and combines application with practical training based upon theoretical rule.

Integration between the linguistic skills: The series addresses the four main linguistic skills which are: reading, listening, speaking and writing in a balanced integrated way. Special attention is given to speaking and understanding what is heard in the first two books. In the third through sixth books the concentration is on dictation and reading. In the seventh through ninth books the aim is to connect schools with Arabic libraries, children’s magazines, encyclopedias and helps to simplify knowledge departments. And in the tenth through twelfth books subjects and literature is presented in their original text with some adjustment. It also presents chosen examples of poetry prose from the poets Al Jahili, Al Omawi, Al Abbasi along with contemporary poets.

Educational material presenting methods: Different methods are used in this series to make the lesson exciting for the child. Stories, songs, conversations, linguistic games and entertaining homework are incorporated in the lessons to entice learning and help students identify their preferences. It also helps to awaken students' passion for drawing, coloring and teamwork. The series includes different types of linguistic exercises that suit children. An emphasis has been given in terms of mental and physical activities, whether performed in pairs or groups.

Vocabulary list: There is a list of vocabulary at the end of each book in this series that contains all vocabularies and expressions which were presented in all book lessons. The words are alphabetized so the student can find the words needed easily.

Evaluation quizzes: Each book of the series books includes a number of phase quizzes for evaluation and measuring the student’s progress in learning the language.

The objectives for teaching the Arabic language in the first part of the intermediate level are as follows:
    1. Assist the student with the art of conversation, using classic simplified standard Arabic as the method of expression. Additionally, provide students with the ability to learn and speak Arabic fluently with confidence.
    2. In "Reading and Archives,” enable students to read texts completely and accurately, emulating the teacher's method of reading. Furthermore, correct any errors students may have in understanding and reading the different texts.
    3. Allow the student in "Grammar and Dictation" to gradually learn the basic language order while observing dictation and grammar rules. Also, learn to write connected sentences composed of simple texts that illustrate the vocabulary and rules taught.
    4. Permit the student in “Verbal and Written Expression" to practice verbal expression techniques in order to vary individual style and technique. Teach the student to use acquired expressions and enhance those expressions using personal observations through individual and team activities. Finally, to analyze a text to gain understanding, and the ability to explain, summarize and remark upon it.
