The publishers have designed the text to show the rules of tajweed when
reading the Qur'an. The text is written in Uthmani style and has case
vowelization and dotting on the letters that are audible. Letters
related to tajweed rules are distinguished within the text by the use of
colors, indicating the various tajweed rules. This technique helps
simplify the rules of recitation for the reader in order to encourage
and facilitate correct Qur’anic recitation. The text is color-coded:
grey indicates when a letter is not pronounced, red indicates letters
which require expanded vocalization, green indicates nasalization and
blue shows the emphatic pronunciation of the letter. This copy of the
Holy Qur’an clarifies words and meanings by providing detailed
explanations between lines of the text (tafseer wa bayan). The Persian translation accompanying this copy of the Holy Qur’an is by Ilaahiy Qamashaay.
The Message of the Qur’an by Muhammad Asad, dedicated to “people who think”, serves as a matchless aid to understanding the Holy Book of Islam and provides in itself a complete education in the faith. As the distinguished British Muslim, Hasan Gai Eaton, explains in a new Prologue to the work, there exists no more useful guide to the Qur’an in the English language than Muhammad Asad’s translation and commentary, and no other translator has come so close to conveying the meaning of the Qur’an to those who may not be able to read the Arabic text or the classical commentaries. Muhammad Asad’s obituary in the Independent praised his magnum opus, The Message of the Qur’an as a work without rival in English as an interpretation of the Holy Book, not only in its “intellectual engagement with the text”, but also in its “intimate, subtle and profound understanding of the pure classical Arabic of the Qur’an”. This new edition makes the work even more accessible by introducing:
a complete Romanized transliteration of the Arabic text.
a supporting guide to pronunciation.
a newly compiled general index of names and key concepts.
Original artwork by the internationally renowned Muslim artist and scholar, Dr. Ahmed Mustafa.
The unique value of Muhammad Asad’s lifelong labor in bringing to light the teachings of the Qur’an is becoming widely and deservedly recognized at a time of growing worldwide interest in what the universal message of Islam has to offer mankind.

Four Key concepts of the Qur'an elucidates these basic Qur'anic concepts “Ilah”, “Rabb”, “Ibadah” and Din in order to bring out fully the Islamic way of life, as distinct from other perspectives. This elaboration goes a long way in developing a sound understanding of the Qur'an. It also explains the man-God relationship in Islam, guiding Muslims on how to lead their lives in total surrender to Allah.
Mawlana Sayyid Abul a La Mawdudi (1903-1979), one of the chief architects and leaders of the contemporary Islamic resurgence, was an outstanding Islamic thinker and writer of his time. He devoted his entire life to expounding the meaning and message of Islam, inviting individuals to renew their commitment to their Creator, and to organizing a movement to establish Islam fully. In this struggle, he had to pass through all kinds of suffering: between 1948 and 1967, lie was put behind bars on four occasions, spending a total of five years in different prisons of Pakistan; in 1953, he was also sentenced to death by a Martial Law Court for writing a 'seditious' pamphlet, this sentence later being commuted to life imprisonment. In 1941, he founded “Jama'at-e-Islami”, of which he remained Amir (Chief) until 1972 and which is one of the most prominent Islamic Movements of our day. He authored more than a hundred works on Islam, both scholarly and popular, and his writings have been translated into forty languages.
