GIVE SOMEONE THE GIFT OF PRAYER!
We believe that it's important to inspire children to learn salah (prayer) in a fun, easy, and interactive way. We also believe that learning salah is about actively, physically, and collectively performing it on a prayer mat and not just sitting down with an iPad or tablet.
This wonderful set contains one My Salah Mat, one Daily Duas for Kids
book, and one Color and Learn Salah
My Salah Mat is a prayer mat designed to educate children on how to perform the Muslim prayer in a fun and enjoyable way. The interactive prayer mat is touch sensitive and has prerecorded sounds that can be accessed through buttons. These sounds include prayer times, how to do wudu, recite surahs, say duas, and much more. It can teach about the different times of salah, the various bodily movements and positions, and what to say during them. In order to make the learning process easy, My Salah Mat will guide the user through two rakahs of salah using a simple-to-understand format.
Daily Duas for Kids
is a collection of duas (supplications) that we make on a daily basis. Duas appear in Arabic and include an English translation and illustrations.
Color and Learn Salah
explains the most important aspects of the Muslim prayer. It’s a textbook and a coloring book for Grades 1–2. This book is designed to meet the needs of parents and teachers at full-time and weekend schools. You will find a complete explanation of the reasons for making salah, how to perform wudu (ablution) and salah, and an explanation of other issues pertaining to the salah, such as prayer timings and prayer in congregation. Divided into five separate units with enrichment questions and coloring exercises, this book contains the following subjects: the times of the prayer, wudu, and direction of the Kaaba, what we say throughout the prayer, the positions of the body, dua, and general information. This book will be of use to any student in the lower elementary grades. All information is cheerfully presented with pictures for kids to color and short reviews following each section. This is a good enrichment book for Islamic schools and homeschoolers.
