The Summer Qur’anic Centers Curriculum Fifth Level (Female Only) For Tenth and Eleventh Grade students Understanding the importance of the curriculum in building the learner’s personality within aspects of human growth (physical, cognitive, emotional, and motor development), a thorough development process for the curriculum of the Permanent Qur’anic Centers took place.
Regarding the number of notes and remarks in teachers’ questionnaires, a curriculum development process became essential to encounter the need of a curriculum which sustains modern development, considers the circumstances our boys and girls are living in, regards their actual needs, and harmonizes with the goals system which the society tries to achieve.
The Summer Qur’anic Centers Curriculum includes five levels for males and females (except the fifth level as it is divided into two parts; one for males, and another for females, topics of which concern only the female students). Most of the concentration is given to the Holy Qur’an (tilawa, tafseer, hifz). The curriculum does not overlook the importance of the various Islamic studies but it contains a group of lessons that enrich the learners’ experiences in Islamic studies topics that concern them.
The fifth level of The Summer Qur’anic Centers Curriculum (Female Only) addresses the following surahs for the lessons of tilawa (ritual recitation of Qur’an), tajweed (recitation of Qur’an), and hifz (memorizing ayaat): Surat An-Noor and Surat Al-Ahzaab.
It addresses other topics from the Biography of Prophet Muhammad (s) including the Conquest of Mecca, the Battle of Hunayn, the Year of Delegations, the Battle of Tabook, the Prophet's (s) pilgrimage, the Prophet’s (s) illness and death, and about dealing with the Prophet (s) as if one is seeing him.
It includes hadeeth on the temptations of the end of time and the believers' struggle with the Jews. Also, it contains lessons about the life of some model characters and heroes such as: Salim Mawla Aby Huthayfa, Al-Hasan Al-Basri, Imam Ibn Katheer, and Um-Salama (raa).
In addition, the book presents topics in fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) such Eemaan (Belief), and the provisions of visiting relatives. Students will study lessons on Islamic thought and the topics of manners in dealing with the Qur’an, and the factors of victory and defeat. Finally, there are stories from the Qur’an about the People of Saturday, the story of Prophet Ayyoob (as), and the story of Maryam (as).

The teacher's guide covers all grades from kG-6, it was made as a completion to the rich educational subjects included within the Islamic Education series, and to be an accompanying aid and enlightening reference for whenever it's needed.
It acquaints the teacher with the secrets of the school textbook and its different contents.
It clarifies the goals of each and every section of the book's parts, every lesson of the book's lessons and defines what is required of the teacher from every academic, informative and curriculum target.
It assists the teacher on how to assemble his or her lessons, and how to perfect its preparation and planning. It facilitates in preparing suitable educational atmospheres for illustration and demonstration.
This book contains lessons of example and educational detailed reminders that connect and link to these goals and aspirations. It extends further than all the contents of the series and covers many educational aspects: The Holy Qur'an, the noble hadeeth, creed (aqeeda), acts of worship (ibadaat) and history (eerah) of the Prophet (s). Although this book contains great benefits and much profit, it does not aim to replace the place of a teacher, nor to displace or dictate what to do. It is, in the end, merely a guide that lights the path of the teacher in all different ways, not only some. It guides to the mothers of theoretical methods and extends itself in sincere advice (though it is not necessary to follow).
The book focuses on developing spoken Modern Standard Arabic skills as a way to enable the
beginning student to communicate with speakers across a variety of
dialects.

As the interest in studying Arabic has increased exponentially over the past decade, the needs of our students have evolved. Rather than learning Arabic for the purpose of reading sources for dissertation writing, most students coming to Arabic today wish to use their Arabic skills in order to obtain positions in the business world, in NGOs, and in government-related employment. Especially at state universities, the population of Arabic students is composed of undergraduates who are interested in the Arabic of everyday life: every time that our Arabic program has polled students on their goals for learning the language, the primary one had been speaking. However, historically, AFL teaching materials have lagged behind those of other languages in terms of leading the learner of Arabic from the more basic to the more advanced conversation skills, functions, and topics.
This book represents an attempt to build the Arabic learner's communicative skills sequentially, in terms of vocabulary, grammar, and functional skills. It introduces the student to basic topics that are easily accessible and frequently used in everyday conversation, providing in each lesson a dialogue; speaking, reading, and writing exercises; cultural information; and selections from Arabic magazines and websites. The book focuses on developing spoken MSA skills as a way to enable the beginning student to communicate with speakers across a variety of dialects.
This textbook is for those students who have taken about 4 semesters of Arabic or who are at the Intermediate Mid level (ACTFL). Learning at this level remains communicative and rich in dialogues and exercises that are all related to the dialogue learned. Dialects are introduced again through songs from various parts of the Arab world. In addition, authentic stories from the Arab old tradition are introduced and learned. The textbook integrates all four language strands: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
We believe that this book presents an exciting new direction in Arabic language pedagogy in the United States. Our hope is that after using the book, Arabic instructors and students will find this to be the case. Best wishes for a smooth and enjoyable journey with the Arabic language! When your child is ready to go to kindergarten, introduce him or her to the Qur'ān. The best way to do that is to begin teaching him or her the Arabic alphabet and vowel signs. After learning the alphabet, your child will be able to read, write and pronounce it correctly.
The Beginners Arabic Reading book is a step-by-step Guide to begin reading the Qur'ān. The book introduces the Arabic alphabets, gradually demonstating their beginnng, middle and end shapes and how these are used in Arabic words. The book covers all the essential vowel marks and shows the students how they are used in simple to complex Arabic words commonly found in the Qur'an. After finishing the book, a student is expected to be ready to begin reciting the Qur'an.
The purpose of this book is to introduce children to the time-tested methodologies of learning the Arabic alphabet. As the title of the book indicates, it is a step-by-step guide to start reading the Qur’ān. The materials are presented in a sequential manner to ensure that children learn the necessary tools to read Qur’ānic Arabic in the shortest possible time. The book has 29 lessons. Ideally, a Sunday school should cover each lesson in two Sundays, thus, taking about 58 classes, or two school year to fi nish the book. A full-time school or home schooling parents will require much less time to fi nish the book with their children.
