When Haifa the Deer gives birth to a baby fawn named Badr, her friends decide to give her a present they’ve made by themselves. In 1994, this book received the “Noma Concours for Picture Book Illustrations” award, which is sponsored by the Asia/Pacific Cultural Centre for UNESCO (ACCU).
