The Traveller from the Heavens is based on a hadith reported by Imam Bukhari in his Sahih al Bukhari and generally known as hadith-e-Jibraeel. In the hadith, an angel comes to the Prophet Mohammad (s) and asks him several questions about Iman, Islam, Ihsan, and the Hour. The Prophet (s) answers all the questions except the last one. After the angel leaves, the Prophet (s) tells his companions: “That was Jibraeel (Gabriel) who came to teach the people their religion.”
This is a beautiful new book from Goodword Publications based loosely on that famous hadith. Amidst colorful pictures and enjoyable rhymes, Sr. Nafees Khan describes the hadith in a detailed and fun manner.

Allah (swt) said He always listens to good prayers made by everybody. He listens to the prayers made by believers and sinners.
Best prayers are those that are taught by Allah (swt) in the Quran and those taught by our beloved Prophet (S). In this booklet, 21 dua from the Quran are included. Some of these dua were first prayed by the prophets. Some dua were made by believers seeking guidance. Others were taught by Allah (swt) showing the believers what at ask for and how to ask. We can pray to Allah (swt) anytime using our own language. However, it is better to pray using the exact words from the Quran. We must make it a daily practice to pray to Allah (swt) after waking up, after salah, before going to bed, and at any other time.

The intention of this book is to teach the Muslim child a basic understanding of Tawheed. The importance of the correct belief with certainty in the Oneness of Allah is called Tawheed. If a person’s belief is not correct, then his whole faith and all his actions will not benefit him in this life nor in the hereafter. A great part of the Quran refers to Tawheed. All the Messengers were sent to call people to Tawheed and to correct their misguided belief about Allah. Once Tawheed is established in a child’s heart, all the actions of his heart, tongue and limbs in worshipping Allah will be meaningful rather than just a ritual. We ask Allah to guide our hearts to the correct understanding of Tawheed and to preserve it.
